Also, my two companions seem to have disappeared. They have been gone for well over 8 hours and I know they're not waiting for me somewhere, they simply vanished?

When you go see Mr. House, your companions are automatically placed on wait. Try checking the presidential suite.

Already have. Only Cass is there, cause I sent her there in place of Boone. I also sent Rex there, but he has yet to appear and the game still thinks he is with me...

Boone just appeared in Vault 22 and it was set to wait here, but I never told him to wait there, in fact, I had Cass with me when I explored Vault 22. This is just freaking me out now...
