Is there a mod that make the IC more like is in the lore? One where the waterfront is a place full of murderers, crooks, etc, the market district is full of grit and disorganizations, etc, etc. One basically described as in this: http://imperial-library.info/content/oblivion-guide-imperial-city

If you want true to lore, i wouldn't follow Alessia Ottus. She has other people write her books and just signs them! Practically works of fiction!

EDIT: The texture replacer along with Better Cities looks great.

I also have pondered about this one. Don't know if it's really lore-correct, but a dismal corrupted and gang-ruled Imperial City would be a wet dream come true. It would take a lot of effort but it would definitely "improve" the IC atmosphere.

I really would like some screenshots of that. There is no pictures anywhere of the effect of that mod "Darker Textures Regal".

Do you mean combined with Better Cities? There are pics on TES for Darker Regal IC.
