Food? Drinks? : Fallout: New Vegas

Just wondering if any one knew what kind of food and drinks there were. (Im playing hardcoe mode first play threw) So if any one knows the kinds of foods and if there the fallout 3 stuff then let me know!

I'm hoping to see less of the pre-war foods, and more wasteland cuisine... Rad Rice, Agave blossom juice, Big Horner and beans...

I hope with the crafting system you can make unique meals that you wont see often. I also hope you have to find new recipies (Maybe a pre-war recipe or two hidden away in Grandma's Safe. Mmmmmm Grandmas Special Pie)

I'm hopin' for some apple pie, Fallout 3 was just spouting out the American way and such with Eden's broadcasts and the fact that the game took place in and around America's capitol but I never found any sort of nuclearized apple pie in the game which is like the all American desert and I was sorely disappointed. I'm likein' the idea of hc mode and the interestin' cuisine cooked up by the West Coast, and I'm hopin' there will be more choices for food and originality in the dishes.

Yeah id love that too. Like entering a random innocent genetic house and finding Grandma's Recipe, that'd be cool.

We will have no quantum but will have sunset sasparilla, and nuka-cola quartz, and nuka-cola victory. We will also be able to use animals to cook different recipeis with the survival skill and a camp fire.

In the hardcoe mode I heard that some drinks will have a negative impact on your dehydration/health situation.

Yea I believe that nuka cola quartz will have a negative impact on your hydration situation

Hmm that would be nice finding Grandmas roast beef and Yorkshire pudding in a safe.

I look forward to the food of New Vegas. In Fallout 3, there wasn't much reason to eat what food you found unless it was an extremly dire emergency, so...
