Vaults are cool. I like the people who live there. I have seen it in all three Fallout games. Actually 4, considering Vault Zero in FOT. I don't feel comfortable leaving the vaults. A short trip from the Vegas center should bring me near some Vault.

I would not mind if 65% of the game is about Vaults. The geo-political implications! We have people who are all dressed up nice . But they are enclosed in a labyrinth of vault corridors. I am raging with emotion right now! I feel alone.

But on topic: How detailed are the Vaults? There is more than 1 or two I hope. How long will we spend time in the Vaults? Will we see a good chunk of the greater society unwilling to leave the Vaults yet still have the 3/4 outside enjoying Mojave ?'


Again, will our Main quest deviate at any point to let us enjoy Vaults and the wonders within them? If I am correct, and such things are hidden in the Mojave Wasteland, this may be the best game ever.

Well i can tell you one thing right off the bat, the PC isn't a vault dweller.

I am not outgoing. I don't leave my house. doesn't mean i am anti-nature dweller-able.

bah I read that wrong, but yeah there are maybe 2 vaults in the game.

Vault 21 - Vault where all problems/disputes are solved through gambling

Jungle Vault - Forget the number, speculated to be a : GECK gone wrong / an area where they performed experiments on flora and fauna

Boomer Vault - also forget the number (its in the 30s) Vault that was full and maybe still chalk full of firearms and weapons :gun:

I imagine the main quest is related to the Vault Experiment in some way (at the least, something we need will be found only in some Vault, somewhere). Exactly how remains to be seen.

Since Vegas hasn't had a large impact from the war compared to other parts in the US I presume there will be less vaults.

No the main quest isn't based around vaults, I'm not sure if it'll even take us to vaults. But yes there are vaults in the game, and I'm sure we'll have side quests about them.

vaults are okay but in Fallout 3 all they were were death traps filled with enimies

To be honest, the only Vault I''ve seen that I wanna go to is Vault 21 (The Vault turned Casino on The Strip)

Jungle Vault's number isn't known yet. Boomer Vault is Vault 34.

Vault 17 is mentioned-only, and located in the Core Region (Fallout 1&2 area).

With New Vegas almost here im getting strange vibes. Its sayin that theres going to be something really close to "Would you Kindly" only in the epic sense no mind control.
