The pricing on steam was until recently $49.99 american
now the pricing on pre-order is $89.95 american
What is wrong with this picture, its the way the prices on steam are being raised against various regions around the world to gouge the digital market
This has been happening in australia since Jan2010, with prices on all new games going upto the point of retail sales, Your the company developing and distributing the game, you've allow it to be disturbed on Steam in a digital format
IT SHOULDN'T"T COST AS MUCH AS RETAIL BOXSET
with the currency strong at the moment in australia we will likely pay about $95 roughly for this after the exchange rate is factored in
I've been down to my local EB Games store and seen what the Collector's edition box-set will contain and it's pretty good, what I've purchased on here for $49.99 is basically the same
but it's unfair to inflict a extra $40.00 on everyone else to pre-order it
Get your act together
We love Bethesda, we love the games you make, but get your pricing settled so we can all enjoy your games at the right price,
And people wonder why some pirate, cause half the time the market is just trying to rip the consumer off
( I am just glad I pre-ordered months ago at $49.99 USD)
Any thoughts, comments about your region and the price you've paid, I'll be checking for replies (unless this gets removed for being to strongly worded)
Cheers
