Veronica Disappeared

Post » Thu Jan 20, 2011 11:25 pm

Veronica seems to have wandered off without me somewhere :( She was with me one minute, the next I couldn't find her anywhere nearby. Tried waiting, changing zones, reloading. I didn't tell her to go anywhere I just lost track of her.
Anyway, isn't there a console command that teleports NPC's to you? Could come in handy if I knew what it was. Any help is appreciated.

Go to Vault 22 and take the elevator to Pest Control, should be the bottom floor, and she'll be there... works for any companion.

I wouldn't recommend console commands unless you don't care about your achievements, I'm told they stop functioning for that game once you use the console. However, if you choose to use console commands for Veronica, do as follows:

Open the console with tilde, the little ` above your TAB key.
Type: prid 000e32a9 (this sets Veronica as the target.)
Type: moveto player (this summons Veronica to you)
I'm no expert on this so I don't know if the following is absolutely necessary.
Type: kill (Obviously to kill Veronica.)
Loot whatever you gave her to hold.
Type: resurrect (This revives Veronica and supposedly resets her quest so it's not all addled because of the warp you did.)

I'd get a second opinion though on the kill/resurrect commands, not positive that's needed... I suggest just doing the Vault 22 fix, it's easier and safer... relatively. >.>

Thanks I'll try Vault 22 when I get back to it. If it happens to not work I'll go with the console command. I'm not worried too much about it screwing up achievements anyway, I use it all the time to toggle the free camera and hud for screenshots :P

Thanks again.

I found dismissing then immediately rehiring was required after the moveto, otherwise she just stood in place.

Friendler than killing I guess!

That should be all that is needed.
