POLL: 70 hours in using patch 1.2 - Safe to upgrade to 1.3?

Thought I'd poll the forum to see if we could gather some data on the issues some folks have been experiencing. I waited until the second Xbox 360 patch was released (1.2.0.315) before starting a game. I'm about 70 hours in, and have been mostly doing side quests. In the main story, I've only just got to the Vegas strip. I do NOT yet own any of the DLCs, although I'm thinking of purchasing the first one.

So far, the game has been fairly stable and glitch-free (knock on wood). I've avoided taking the 1.3.0444 patch so far as due to all the reports of serious problems. Those reports seem to have died down slightly, so I'm wondering whether it's safe to install it? Re-starting my character is *NOT* an option for me.

For the folks who've had issues, I haven't seen much (or any) discussion as to at what patch level their character was started. I would bet there's correlation between that and current issues. The 1.0 game had the most bugs, so a character started at 1.0 and steadily updated with patches might conceivably have more issues than one started at 1.2 and then upgraded to 1.3.

Thanks for participating or any other insight you can share!

I swear I created an *actual* poll, in addition to soliciting feedback above. Clearly I did something wrong as it's not showing up. Anyone have any tips on how to make polls work?
