I am 150 hours into the game and have did all but a couple of the side quests, and the DLC. For the past 30 hours or so I have not even been following the main quest, just doing side quests and exploring, for the whole game I have been siding with the NCR.I just recently aided Camp Forlorn hope, but the quest didn't update to give me further instructions after finishing there. To get this quest, I had to talk to Colonel Moore, so I returned to the Dam, but when I try to talk to her the camera just zooms in and out. I keep spare saves as a precaution, but nothing that far back.

So it seems, I am facing a game breaking bug.

I'm wondering if I should just start entirely over, or shelve the game for a few months and see if it's fixed in the next patch.

I love New Vegas, I have seen glitches before, but they were minor, nothing this bad.

I had similar when I saved the president, in For The Republic Part 2, my solution was to take the game back to Sainsburys, where they offered me a refund.
