So, when I press Shift+Tab to bring up the Steam menu, this is what I see:

It shows 0 friends, no news, and no record of my gameplay stats/achievements.
Also, when I open up the Steam client out of game, it shows that I've only played for 6 hours (I've got some 50 hours in).

Is there a simple fix for this?

The ingame Steam menu thing that I showed with the picture.. it works fine in L4D, L4D2, and HL2.
Only having this problem with New Vegas.

No, trust me, I was logged in.
I have Steam set to automatically log me in when I turn my computer on. I use the Steam chat a lot.

yeh but if your internet drops then you get logged out.

I think we can rule that out.

Are you launching the game from Steam, or from somewhere else? FOMM,NVSE, fnv4GB, etc...?

I launch it through Steam.
Opened up my game library, right click on New Vegas, create a desktop shortcut.

That's how I launch it.

Any thoughts? :brokencomputer:
I've also submitted an inquiry to the Steam support site. No response there yet either.

I had a problem with steam to it didn t let me connect to steam server to identify my copy of the game. I hate such errors, because you paid for the game and then you can t play because of such a stupid connection error.
