Why are you doing this? What the hell is wrong with you peop

Hi,

As a loyal and Pre-order purchaser i have to say i am not happy. I went to bed last night with 7 hours left until my game unlocks. I open steam today, and i have to wait another 3 days and 3 hours. Not to mention that when a friend of mine in the US sends me a screenshot of his and there is this difference:

Australian Version

US Version

Why the hell is the Australian version $40 more USD? WHAT IS IT, SHIPPING COSTS? It's a digital download! And changing the date has just pissed me off massively considering i took the day off work today just to do this thing.

Seriously, fix yourselves up cos this is not gonna stand.

Yep, same issue here. For weeks the release date has been posted on Steam as the 19th October. I went to bed last night with 7 hours until release. I took an annual leave day to play the game as well and woke up to find out that I have to wait a further three days.

I only get 20 of 'em.

At what point did either Bethesda or Steam work out that this wouldn't be released in Australia on the 19th as originally promised? It would seem that it was at the exact moment it was unlocked in the US. And why exactly do we have to wait an extra three days, is our money not as valuable as Bethesda/Steam's American customers? This is yet another example of how far the games industry has to go from a customer service perspective. I elected to pay more than my US cousins to get this game - that was my choice (although I don't understand it), but I don't understand why, up until nine hours ago, I was told this game would be released today and now I have to wait another three days. It's a disgrace. I'm sure someone will jump in here and say that I'm being unreasonable, but from what other service provider in what other industry would we tolerate it? Why do we as gamers have to continually put up with this sort of rubbish in the form of broken games and broken promises?

Whose fault is this? Steam? Bethesda? Either way I think we're due an explanation and maybe even an apology.

You might have to look at the burger index to get an idea why your copy is more expenssive (if you don't know what the burger index is google it ^^)

i'm pretty sure you can cancel a preorder on steam if it hasn't been unlocked yet.

1. It's not the exchange rate, how does that factor into it when both prices are listed in USD?

2. Aussie dollar is on par with USD

3. Burger index does not matter.
