Got mine, but Pre-Order code not working

Post » Tue Dec 14, 2010 1:23 am

Either I have a bad code or they don't turn them on until Midnight.

Anyone else got theirs and have a working code? I ordered through Wal-mart.

Mine was shipped to me. Waiting on the porch when I got home.

When I enter the code in the PS3 Store it says that the code is either bad or expired.

I assume they just have not turned then on yet, but I wanted to see if anyone else could use their already.

I would just play the game and try it tomorrow. They magically add the items to your inventory when you get the game, so you will still get the items, I believe.

There is a good chance the Pre-Order Bonuses will not be available until they are supposed to be available. Which is not today.

That is what I figured, but wanted to check.

I spent about an hour playing so far and the game rocks! Going to be a lot of fun for a lot of hours! :)

*sigh*

Well at least tomorrow is one of my good days and this game might just be the cherry on top of the day to make it perfect. Congrats on getting the game early.

Bleh, you're lucky. I was hoping Gamestop would ship mine a day early. To be honest, it's more likely they'll ship it a day late. Of course even though the game remains unshipped that didn't stop them from taking my money earlier. Unless of course they're website is just really slow at updating itself.

Probably the pre-order DLC rolls over tomorrow so check then.
Playstation Store always rolls over on a Tuesday in the US, Wednesday for Europe and Thursday for Australasia.

Hmm, yeah, I'd advise anyone that has their code already, not to try it till tomorrow. There's the chance that even if you put in the code and it doesn't work, it'll still count as being used, and you might not be able to use it again. Same thing happened with the free DLC code that came with Alan Wake. Bunch of people used it before the DLC was released, and when that date rolled around the code was useless, or so I heard.
