One question regarding pre-order codes...

Post » Wed Jan 05, 2011 6:02 am

I've been searching 10 pages of threads and I couldn't find anything on this topic so I wanted to ask one question about the pre-order code from Gamestop:

How exactly does the code work? Like is it a one time use, can I only use it on one character or does my items appear on every character I make once I put it in?

Btw, I've never pre-orded a game in my life, :P , so that's another reason why I'm asking.

enter the code and the stuff is yours to use when you start the game. and you can use it over and over with different characters.

So I would enter it at my dashboard like Microsoft points or will I have a chance to enter it when the game starts up?

Just to clarify, the items are added to your inventory once the code is entered. So, you don't even need to enter it right away if you want to. Up to you but you could start without and see what the game is like totally vanilla.

Thanks Gurkog The code is entered into the game like a normal dlc code. So, the procedures for that will vary slightly as to your service.

The Pre-Order bonuses are DLC, so its treated like all DLC. When you enter the code and download the stuff its part of your game and will load into current and future characters.
