Hey all, i just got FONV for Christmas, and i completed the mission I Put a Spell on You, and i listened to the whole conversation in the tower. When it was finished though, Curtis turned around and shot at me, so i killed him. I took the codes and went to the train station. Right as i got there, the voice came over the radio and sai it was leaving. I watched it pull out and blow up. I looked online for reasons for this, or how to get around it but i could find none. So, my question(s) is (are): Does the Monorail get fixed? (I heard this on one forum and saw the exact opposite on another.)
AND if it doesn't, how do i get back into NV (I'm siding with House on my first playthrough, so this is obviously a necessity.)

You probably told Curtis there was a spy in the Tower or weren't in sneak mode so he found you.If you kill Curtis you can NEVER stop the bomb. If the monorail is bombed, it will NEVER get fixed. To get to New Vegas, you could go to the entrance in Freeside :spotted owl:

No the monorail doesn't get fixed ever, and I'm guessing you stopped to report to Hsu before arriving at the train right?

You get back into the strip through the front door *DUH* go through freeside.

yes, i reported to Hsu. Ok, thanks, i just never got around to going to Freeside.

to save the monorail u have to listen to the entire conversation in sneak mode and not get caught. when done with the conversation then go to the monorail and you can attempt to disarm it. u nee like 35 explos. or like 50 science. im not sur eexactly. then when its disarmed go to Hsu that it was curtis and then hell arrest him or you can go kill him afterwards.

100% False, I always kill Curtis and always disarm the bomb. You just need to listen long enough to hear about the bomb.

That's the trigger, if you report to Hsu before disarming the bomb you fail.
