My name is John, and I have a problem...

Post » Wed Dec 08, 2010 10:01 am

I have the disorder that causes me to constantly restart my game to try different character types. Everytime I say,"Ok, this is my last character" but everytime I restart! Does anybody else have this problem?

No, but after my 2 saves of 35 hour gameplay have locked up, my right anolog stick does not respond.... I will have to revert basically to the beginning where my save file is at 9 hours.... Oh well :(

Good thing I have fable to distract my negativity and not care.

I suppose then it'd be useless to tell you to be content with the choices you've made and see it through to the end? There are many, many, many different types of characters and playstyles to try in this game, as opposed to the all-powerful meta-character that could be built in Fallout 3.

Yes i tend to have that problem, all of a sudden i think it would have been better if i started with those stats or made that build and start again :).

I made 1 character to start with, right now he sort of svcks, but he shares his name and ideals with me so ill just keep going. The way the game is playing out multiple playthroughs will be completely neccesary to expirience as much as possible. Ill make more Stat, Perk, Quest and Roleplay specific characters in the future but right now this guy is way too spread out. Just be wary of any perk that your hoping to take to improve your initial playthrough. Dont worry about making a mistake as almost every stat and perk have their benifits,

Best advice i can give for creating a like able first character is to start roleplay-esque, decide how you want to progress through your first play through and go from there
