Im level 17 and I have still not been to the strip, Ive been trying to complete all the quest outside of the strip. Anyway I think im going to be ready soon to go in and paint the town red so to speak. What I want to try and do is find a fancy suit to wear in vegas. Does anyone know an easy way of me getting one. I have caps to buy too.

I have not found a fine clothing merchant yet. The best thing you can do is, during a certain event around the time you talk to Benny, you can collect some Grimy Pre-War Business Wear. However I would love to get one of the suits that the Generic Gamblers wear. Might have to kill one of them to see if it can be looted.

For sure the next time you kill somone who is wearing what you would like to wear, loot their clothing. Unless someone comes along and tells us where the Macy's is.

Im reframing from going to the strip confronting benny (thats the part of the main story im upto) But the next person I see wearing some nice gear will end up dead and naked.

What about that one guy that works at the Courier by the freeside? Sorry i just did the quest last night and i can't remember the name, but i basically killed his wife for a quest on looting the caravans money or w/e. If you know what im talking about lol. The guy has a slick black suit and a mafia style hat on. I ran into him at the caravan place and he said... "I should kill you right now for what you've done!" so im planning on killing him and taking his shiat. Let you know how the clothing looks on me

don't put off going to the strip for the first time too long, you're building yourself up for some serious dissapointment! it's not THAT impressive :whistling:

I'm doing the samething by completing all the other quests first. Not because i wanna be awed by the strip... but to simply put off ending the game as long as possible for my first run through

I like not sure that actually spoils anything, but it implies that you can wear it. Which you can, for those not that far yet.

good idea, maybe in future DLC they can make some cool new clothes for pimpin around the Strip!

The main reason is I still have about 8 quest to do/finish and I dont want to add more to the list, Im assuming when I get to the strip there is gonna be more quest for me to do. It seems that while Im out doing something I see something I want to explore and I go over for a look and end up taking on another quest. I had about 16/17 quest to do and ive got it down to 8 I want to only have around 2/3 quest when I go to the strip.

On topic:Yes I have seen quite a few people wearing some nice outfits outside the Strip. Check the Atomic Wrangler, I know there owner has some great looking attire!

Although then you would have to kill the entire casino for one suit.. A Win/Lose Situation...
