Wellll.. I was performing a quest which led me to Vault 22 and while I was on the 5th floor Boone kept getting owned so I told him to wait for me at The Lucky 38. Worst. Mistake. Ever.

Boone is nowhere to be found at The Lucky 38, Novac, or Vault 22. I know he must be somewhere in the Mojave but do you guys have any suggestions on where he might be? Also.. will he be just standing around or glitched running but keeps running into an obstacle or something stupid..

Could of glitched or something because he usally in Novac if you playing hardcoe hopfully he has not died walking back to his spot.

Had problems with companions galore too. Your best bet is to go back to lucky 38, click on 'wait' or 'sleep'.... and then... wait. and wait some more. Eventually, he'll get there. They can't die - they'll just go unconscious, and get back up. So, unless he managed to wander into some Deathclaw nest, he'll make it to lucky 38 ... in a week, tops.

Check his room in Novac or wait a few days then check Lucky 38. He might just be taking his time in getting there.

If Boone died though, it should have displayed a message on the screen right? My best guess is that he's walking across the wasteland at his own pace. I don't think there's a sure fire way to get him right away, short of using the console commands on PC. I sent Boone back to Lucky 38, and it took a few days.
