Exploring Vault 11 cause House Always Wins II to fail? : Fallout: New Vegas

Was exploring the "maintenance" area of Vault 11 (those have been there should know what I am talking about) and after I finished the little event, I failed House Always Wins II for some reason. Is this supposed to happen or glitch?

Was exploring the "maintenance" area of Vault 11 (those have been there should know what I am talking about) and after I finished the little event, I failed House Always Wins II for some reason. Is this supposed to happen or glitch?

From what I have experienced it messes up the Mr. House quest entirely. The only way to beat the game is to use Mr. Yes man. Its a major glitch im sure. I found out the hard way when I entered lucky 38 and got attacked by all the robots. Hopefully they will fix it with this patch that came out in the last day or two for the pc and hopefully soon for xbox and ps3.

So theres no way to side with NCR or the Legion without going through Yes Man? I already did that story line
