Where'd my rep go? : Fallout: New Vegas

Was idolized by the NCR, all of a sudden Ive gone back to neutral? Ive not done anything to provoke them? Any ideas whats wrong?

did you do the mission back in our own backyard? I know when i accepted this mission and completed it (even though i rescued the guys) my ncr rep dropped like a rock. I went back and avoided accepting this mission and my rep was fine. Also as other posts pointed out faction armour will make you neutral; even BoS power armour.

Im not wearing any faction armour. Apart from the 1st recon beret, which as far as I know doesnt cause any rep change. Come to think of it, Ive done that mission yeah. But it was fine afterwards.
