So I was wondering, What tactics do you guys use?

I would stick back, shoot the enemy with a silenced sniper, then head towards the area I am attacking and use a silenced weapon to kill the ones that I would have missed...

What about you?

I got ED-E and left him in my Novac motel room.
I still have the perk so I see the red dots from a mile away.
At which point I carefully move forward and take the enemies out with my Gauss Rifle.
At close combat I use the Gauss Rifle in VATS to cripple the enemies legs while Raul blasts away at them with the Plasma Defender.
