So when I got to Nipton, I did something stupid by killing Vulpes and his entourage. He was acting all high and mighty so I let him have it. My status with the legion decreased to the lowest of low (vilified or something like that) Later on, I got attacked by Legionary Assassins on my way to Novac. Those are some tough guys but they got it too. I read online that once you meet them that means you can't do anymore Legion quests. I was just wondering, did I ruin my chance of every being atleast neutral with the Legion? Will I ever be able to get on better terms with them (I know that helping the NCR will do the opposite). You don't have to give me details I just want to know if later on in the game I can make the Legion not hate me.

If they're already sending assassins after you, then nope, no chance of redemption whatsoever.

That svcks. Is that a bad thing campaign wise or is it just one of the paths? I just don't want to get to far in the game only to find out that I can't do something because of this.

What was the point of quoting what I said and not adding anything to it? Or are you facing the same problem?

Keep following the main quest line. You may still be able to save Legion and NCR faction.

*SPOILERS* - i guess

You can still save your faction with them no worries. At some point in the main story you will have your slate washed clean with them and will know when this occurs.

Did you see it rain about 12 or 13 quests with FAILED after them on your screen? It did when I got vilified.

Its still early in the game. Just keep chasing Benny and after you find him, the Legion will offer you a second chance. And don't worry, they'll just promote some other guy in Vulpes place. :goodjob:

Ok thanks guys. I don't feel so bad about killing Vulpes anymore.
