I was able to kill everyone in this store and steal their ENTIRE stock of Weapons, Armour, and Ammo (valued at around 25000+ caps) without a single hit on my karma (i took plenty to the face though in the fight)

Has anyone else done this?

Yes, although your estimate of value is optimistic unless you have Barter of about 300 (but it maxes at 100)

You don't have to kill everyone in the Silver Rush to collect all the items in the place. I picked every single item up one at a time carried it into the bathroom inside the store and took them. It took about 2 hours, and many many saves because sometimes the guards would randomly know I took something and attack me, but I eventually collected all the stuff laying around the store that was up for grabs. I need to go back there and break into the 'Hard' locked door.

Dunno where i got "ranch" from! lol! but i valued it from the value given in the inventory (I got 5500 alone for their combat armour!) but i just hope it doesn't bite me in the ass later on!

You don't take karma loss because they are a bunch of evil badasses.

You don't lose rep because the Van Graffs are not part of a faction.

The only reason to even keep them alive is to buy EW ammo.
