Can't Talk to Colonel Hsu : Fallout: New Vegas

I just finished "I put a spell on you." However, upon returning to Colonel Hsu to complete it, there's no dialogue option to talk about what just transpired, so this quest is stuck as incomplete.

Is there any way to fix this on an Xbox 360?

Edit: He even still initiates conversation with "What happened?"

Did you allow the captain to begin his radio conversation? What does your quest Log say?

Try going to the monorail and 'Investigate" it. If you can't and you've killed the captain, you may have to start the quest over.

Ok, how is this a cheat, hint, or spoiler? I tried to make my post as un-revealing as possible.

And as for the quest, this is annoying. Ah well, this is the "Cheats, Hints, and Spoilers" forum now, so details be damned. I went outside and was confronted immediately upon exiting the building, and failed the speech check and had to tell him I was investigating the tower. Once inside, I eavesdropped until I completed the objective. I then went to the monorail and could not enter it, only ride it. I rode it round trip, went back to the tower, killed Curtis, looted his corpse for everything, went back to the Monorail, still couldn't get inside, talked to Hsu, ran to the monorail, (which didn't blow up for some reason) defused the bomb, and now can't talk to Hsu.

I appreciate the help, but my instance doesn't seem to be covered in the wiki.

Geesh this quest is messed up.

Okay. Let's take this one step at a time.

1. What you posted wasn't a spoiler. However, anyone answering you would have to give a spoiler... See?
What I posted just above is a spoiler. I couldn't say that until the thread was moved here.

Now on to your quest. I have to admit it's a doozy

When this happens the Captain won't go to the tower until the next night. Did you wait?

Once inside, I eavesdropped until I completed the objective.
How did you do that without confronting the Captain? How did you get out without killing him?

What did Hsu Say? If he told you to check the Monorail then you weren't supposed to do what you say you did next:

ran to the monorail, (which didn't blow up for some reason) defused the bomb, and now can't talk to Hsu.
I have heard that this is bugged on the consoles. You are not supposed to make it and the monorail is supposed to blow if you talk to Hsu first.

At this point there is no way to complete the quest for you. You can reload from a save before the Captain confronted you on the tarmac. Give him plenty of time to get to the tower. What I do is watch him go out then run around to the concourse and go out through the supply depot, just in time to catch him in the act.
