Recruiting Cass?

I killed the Van Graffs about 24 levels ago, I go to Cass to try and recruit her and she just gives me her quest to finish with Alice at the Caravan Company yet I can't recruit her. I go to Alice at the Caravan Company to see if I can finish the quest but no dialog about Cass shows up.

Any suggestions?

Do whatever Job Alice has for you it will eventually lead to Cass
