Somewhere in the beginning of the game I recall a girl running up to me as she had escaped a man who was trying to kill her for her star bottle caps and she apparently barely got away from the encounter unscathed. I am just wondering if this star bottle cap maniac will eventually come after me for suspicion that I may have some caps which he long searches for. I would love the opportunity to shoot this guy down and make him another victim to the Ranger with that Midnight on her hip...

If anyone has any clues as to where I may find this fool, it would be greatly appreciated. Or if he even exists...

Actually, the maniac is the girl, she killed the poor guy for his star caps.

His body is usually found close to where you met that sassy Lass.
She set him up, and they get into a fight as you approach the area, ( it's a scripted event ).

It's a close fight sometimes she wins and loots his body, other times he does and you can convince him to give you the caps ( his lucky necklace. )

The bodies have a tendancy to flop and roll, hers usually ends up just down a bank west outside the south west Nipton area.
It also tends to get caught on a rock, and is easily missed.

He came to me but he didnt give me the caps, so i stole them from him

This event happened to me west of Nipton. Try looking there for the bodies.
