Not that I really use followers, but personally I'd prefer disposable followers, Mongrels to be precise. I think this should be one of the FEW perks in siding with the Legion? No need to thank me for the idea, you were prolly working on that already anyway.

Exactly. I've been enjoying their whole image and weirdly ignorant use of Latin...but I find it odd that there isn't more miltary action you can join them on. Raids and such. I'm not THAT far in the game though, so perhaps this changes. Anyway I really like disposable companions becuase then I don't need to stress about reloading a save or just letting it be. I tried to leave Veronica dead, becuase it was a pretty fair kill by Duke tbh, but then I remembered her quest for a dress and felt bad, and also curious... so I reloaded save. bleh.


But for Legion, it would fit them so well to have Mongrel recruits. If it dies there could always be another one avaliable. They'd be weaker than other followers. No better than a Yao Guai if it's any more powerful than a normal Legion Mongrel. Maybe only if you have Animal Friend? That would certainly add value to that much underloved perk.
