So I get to the part where the NCR wants me to go investigate the omertas right? I go to the NCR embassy, and the military police around the embassy start attacking me for no reason. what the [censored]. I get inside, talk to the lady about what i'm supposed to do. then I got into gomorrah and ask the receptionist, who tells me to find cachino. after asking a prosttute and finding him, I get the next objective, which is to search his room. then after a few seconds, everyone and their [censored] dog starts attacking me. what the [censored]. oh, and I periodically started earning strip infamy without doing anything.


slept for 48 hours up in the lucky 38, and the military police at the embassy STILL attack me. what the hell?

I've had the same problem with Gamorah, i guess you just shouldnt ask about cachino :shrug:

even better, I can't continue the story now because I can't get the securty quest from the ranger guy because he just [censored] shoots me for no reason while acting as if i'd just shot someone (yelling things like "check your fire!" and "what was that for?")

I think the game is in desperate need of a [censored] patch

i get attack by alot of NPCs for no reason. especially just outside of the tops i cant go anywhere except the lucky 38 section of the strip all other places theres at least 2 guys that spawn right in front of me and start attacking

Well are you sure you are not wearing any armor Legion specific as much of the wasteland attacks and kills members of the Caeser's Legion. Otherwise you have a bug!

I think we should have a faction icon show up on screen and stay there whenever we wear a faction armor.

Yeah, I've spent maybe 4 hours total wandering around in my undies. I never notice in FP mode.

Nope, in fact I was wearing RANGER COMBAT ARMOR.

anyways, I think I found the issue. for some reason, the president was dead long before I got the quest to defend him. oddly, only certain NCR NPCs attacked me, e.g. the military police around the embassy, but not the MPs on the other parts of the strip. whatever, new game time
