Hey guys, I'm doing unmarked quest 'dealing with Contreras' . Accordingly I can get unique weapon ' This machine' at the end of the assingment.

The problem is though, there are two options that I can choose.

1) Report Boyd about the fact that Contreras's dealing with drug: I can get 'This machine' anyway. However Contreras gonna go to jail so that I cannot buy stuffs from him.

Considering he's dealing with some of valueable things like ammo's and armors, if I cannot trade with him any longer, severe loss will be expected.

My question in this point is that 'Is Contreras replaceable?' In other words is there other merchant who deal with ammo like 308,and 12mm as much as Contreras does?

2) Help Contreras: This is very simple way to slove the assingment, but I have to kill a ranger, which makes me to gain infamy of NCR,

( It has been netural than it changed to mixed, after I killed a ranger)

I'm on NCR's side and willing to play game on their side. So I don't want to get infamy from this quest.

(Or is there any other strategy that I finish what Contreras ask to do and at the same time avoid gainning infamy?)


---- So my point is that if I choose option 1), losing Contreras as merchant is big deal? (in other words severe disadvantage)

Totally not a disadvantage. Especially since it takes a few loads and quite a bit of running to get to him. Gunrunners supplies me with all the ammo I need... usually.
