Where is the key to metal staircase room repconn facility, to meet with dude on the intercomm? Searched entire place, basemant and all?

1: Repconn isn't DLC, wth is this thread doing here instead of in New Vegas Cheats, Hints, and Spoilers?

I never needed any key. Find Eastern room with metal stairs, climb to top of stairs, use intercom at top, gravelly voice unlocks door and lets you in.
