Game Freezes & music loops

Post » Tue Jan 25, 2011 9:13 pm

When will all of the freezes and loops be fixed? I have played through the entire game and never made one single time without some sort of crash or freeze. Why won't someone fix this game? At first all seems fine but as soon as travel is completing the game drops to desktop ...... WHY Then at the Mohave Outpost after completing the transaction with a trader in front again ...... CRASH! Why does this continue to happen?

Again and again it just freezes and drops you to the desktop! ....... When will this problem get resolved? I have read numerous types of this kind of complaints about this game and still no resolution in sight!
Also, there are some of the "achievements" that get completed and in the list when reviewed it still does not show as completed. There seems to be more "BUGS" in this game than anyone realized.
When will a patch to "FIX" all of these problems be forthcoming?

For better help try posting in the technical forum if you havent done so already. But your problem could be that you need to update your drivers, like video & or soundcard etc.

As for my drivers and software goes, all updates are installed that are available. I play for about 1 to 1.5 hours sometimes before it crashes and other times only about 30 minutes and all I am doing is simply walking in the desert. As far as the technical side of things, in other games ie Fallout 3 and Oblivion I have found that most posts are read on the general discussion forums and answered with a rare referral to the technical forum pages. I have read many posts about this kind of problem and never yet found any real answers that would help resolve the problem.

It's probably related to one of a few things. Bad sound drivers, or bad codecs which are screwing with the engine. The second one is really common because people use CCCP and Klite, which screws the DDShow/audio settings up.
