I used to have 3 GTX 260s and I couldn't play on high. Something was just off, it would have a very laggy feeling to it. Are you euro? I have never seen you playing.

crysis has problems with triple card setups. you should be fine just using two though, havent you tried that?

I have tried just about everything. For some odd reason at FPS below around 50ish I get terrible lag even with one card. Nothing I have done fixes it. It is either a wars issue or something is wrong with my card because I have tried everything you could think of. I now run on low with an low config with an i7 930 @4.4 GHz and one gtx 260 with my FPS limited to 90. I limited it so I have a constant fps and don't get lag spikes when the fps jumps above 100 and back down quickly.

Try lowering your overclock and see if it increases the fps stability. Hell, I get 90-110 fps on low with a now crappy old system. Core two duo @ 2.7GHz, GTX285, 4GB DDR2 Ram.

Wait Laz0r... Do you overclock your RAM at all? That might be the problem.

As Crysis is mostly GPU limited, you probably don't need to be pushing 4.4 on an i7, especially with just one GPU. You *should* start seeing very nice scaling at that speed with 2 or 3 GPU's though. I can't say i've read much negative in regards to multi-GPU setups in Crysis as previously mentioned, it is a GPU killer so it should be eating all you can throw at it.

As I said, I tried everything. I have run the game at default settings (my bios/cpu) to no avail. I get freezing, stuttering, and input lag at any frame rate below 50ish. I am going to be grab a single 485 when it comes out and see how that performs. My RAM is usually clocked around 1600 but ATM is is a bit underclocked - 1300 MHz - with tighter timings though.

I currently am running my RAM at the above speeds, CPU at 4.4 GHz, Single 260, and my FPS is limited to 90. I run a low config and on BROS I get almost a constant 90 fps, it is limited because my FPS jumps b/t 90 and 120. Pre-rendered frames is set to 0 as well. My GPU is overclocked to 700/1410/1200. This is the smoothest it has been but of course if the fps drops it is terrible. I am using this monitor the Samsung 2433BW at 1920x1200. I was also using an Intel 160GB SSD.
