Strange Sounds In Gomorrah

Post » Sun Aug 24, 2008 4:25 pm

Is it just me or are there some strange six sounds in Gomorrah? Go in Gomorrah and turn the music way up. It almost sounds like you are listening to a couple have six behind a wall. Has anyone else noticed this, or was I just hallucinating it?

You see, when a man loves a woman...

Just kidding, but it's just background noise they made I think.

It just struck me as odd for a fallout game. I don't know why though, there are a lot of sixual themes in the game. It's just so faint that I couldn't tell if it actually was what I was hearing or not. Kind of like when people here ghost messages in white noise. Most of the time I can't tell what is being "said" until someone tells me what to listen for. I figured with Gomorrah being themed as a brothel it could be that the sound was suggested in a similar manner, but was actually supposed to be something else entirely.

If it is what I think it is, then I say kudos to gamesas. They put a lot of work into the atmosphere, and it really shows when you notice the little things like this.

Yes they drop quite a few good background noises in NV, I rarely listen to the radio because of the scenic music.
One of the most common wasteland ones always reminds me of the town of Curst music in PS: Torment which I love.

@ The Colonel, can you be Obnoxiously sixual?, a woman told me I was but I just figured it too unlikely in general.

Ah the ambient sounds of a brothel. I wonder how they 'generated' those sounds?

And, as i said before, sounds more like someone getting murdered to me. Atleast it isn't as monotonous as the ones in Deus Ex.
