The new site's pretty cool. I love the new design, it looks great.
The site's quite slow, though, guess that's because of all those users trying to log in.

Regards

Hi,
congratulations for the new and nice design. I like it!

But the Site is very very slow! I hope that the next days it loads faster.

Nice Evening to all,

Please make the forums look like a real forum, not this mess of topics everywhere :\

This site is far worse than the old gamesas. Needs alot of work :\

What is the topic titled "News & Assets" for?

I agree as well. the design of the forum is very... unintuitive? bloated?

another thing that kind of annoys me is not being able to "open in new tab" a lot of things - e.g. forum "threads" - via strg+left mouse button or middle mouse button.
well it will open in a new tab in addition to loading in the current tab. :|

Great new stuff you have here, only gripe is the text size in my opinion.
And in the gallery, all the text distracts a lot from the actual images if you ask me :)

two other things:

I can't seem to edit my posts in the forum - somewhat essential for a forum - and flash
while I can understand the use of flash I'd really like an alternative - or mobile - version of the site. one that is iPad / iPhone compatible if possible... :)

Yup also with AssA2k1 here; replace the flash and make friends with iPads :)

heh I wonder why they didn't build the site in HTML5 yet - probably because of backwards compatibility... :|

anyway - some more to bich - uh - give feedback about. ;)

most features people are used to from other forums are (still) missing

- search (general / users posts / etc...)
- editing / deleting your own posts
- bbcode? [url=www.google.com]this should be a link if bbcode works[/url]
- private messages
- and probably lots more that didn't come to mind yet.

A lot of those features are hopefully still in the pipeline - seeing as the site is still a work in progress... right? :)

so yeah... bbcode doesn't seem to work.

another one that just popped into my head - stickies! it's bad to have important threads like this one on the bottom row.
besides, what's with the order of the threads anyway? they are ordered by creation and not last post? old threads that are frequently used would be a pain to find this way....

okay enough rants from me for today. :)

The layout is good, everyone needs to adapt, It's still day 1, I suggest everyone to give it a chance. But, if it doesn't go well, then I guess it would be nice to change to something better.

Also, add a edit button, I made a triple post due to the slowness of the site, so it would be nice to let people know it wasn't done intentionally.

Anyways, as long as you guys are committed to listen to us, then I can give you some feedback.

The forum layout is really weird, and it looks like it's just going to get worse as topics accumulate.

Extremely slow, perhaps invest in some decent server hardware. "Forum" index is confusing and difficult to use. Utterly basic site functionality is missing altogether: go look at your profile options.

It appears that this isn't a forum, but a console-optimized "discussion board".

Personally speaking, i do appreciate the way forum topics are displayed but it would be wonderful if there would also be the option of a traditional topic layout for when topics start heavily accumulating.

Another useful addition would in general be to the customization afforded to each users account ie. most of what AssA2k1 pointed out.

To beat the horse more, the site is at some points at a crawling pace, but throughout the day I personally have seen some improvement =)

Being able to delete my own multi-posts (Despite only pressing once!!!) would probably be the most useful thing at this point.

Thanks for all the hard work you guys have put into the site so far though!

Cheers,

hello crytek stuff

i′m glad that you got the site ready to lounch, but there are a few things im not very happy with. we have an imagegallery, but all the images are in an really bad quality, low resolution, a lot of artifacts via compression...

i hope you can also make all pics be downloadable in there full quality, for example in an resolution from 3840x2122 or atleast in 1080p!

second the wallpapers should be also available in resolutions, that most of us use, think of 1920x1080 1920x1200 and 2560x1600. we can resize them by our own, but there should be in higher quality for wallpapers.

also the forum is not very functionel, where is the option to right click, open in new tab/window and why are the so big thread boxes in the overvies, this doesnt make sense to me and it would be a lot easier, to use an classic style as seen on crymod.

i hope you can fix up some things

The age-verification thingy doesn't seem to work quite right... Or rather the cookue it tries to set?

I get kicked out to the verification a lot... and it wont accept that I'm 25 ^^
sometimes I even get an "error. Please make sure cookies are enabled"... On 3 different browsers (Chrome / IE8 / Safari on the iPad) - all with enabled cookies.
