Where is the "Edit Post" button?

Post » Tue Sep 02, 2008 5:40 pm

This is a rather simple yet massive flaw with the new site: you cant edit or delete your posts once you post them. Whats up with that? It basically encourages double posting. I would recommend fixing this, as I've already ran into at least one time that I've wanted to edit my post to prevent double posting...

Yeah is very simple , but an edit button isn′t hard to make and is very usefull to many users (including me) .

Edit button needed! If anything I would have preferred the edit button before the Quote function. :)

I have had to double post already to fix spelling mistakes, and I don't want to have to spam to get my messages across.

Yea, also BBC code is missing, so we cant link people to stuff. Admittedly the [img] tag would ruin the sites look, but at least let us use text links.

Well, the edit function is more helpful to their bandwidth then it is to us, but I imagine they'll be tweaking the site and ironing out the wrinkles over the next week or so.

Of course I personally need an Edit Button. Just a few seconds ago I posted an answer and make a mistake and now I am not able to correct it :/
It's very depressing :(

Guys just hang on - we should be able to edit soon, there must be a logical and simple explanation why they didn't add one yet.

I think Crytek have a dedicated web team - I think.

If it's the case, whenever the next update comes, we'll probably get some news on the features.

Hang tight guys. :)
