BoS Bunker as a house?

Could the BoS Bunker that you unlock with the Dead Money DLC (or at least, I did) be used as a house or for storage, just like (for example) the Novac Hotel Room?

So I'm guessing the containers don't refresh themselves, then (thereby erasing all of your stored possessions)?
