Is anyone on fallout fat?

Quick and rather pointless question..

Wondering because I can't think of any fat people

The Brawlers in FO3 Point Lookout seemed fat. Other than that, I can only think of the blubbery Centaurs. I guess folks have gotten used to rationing food.

It also probably has to do with programming game meshes or something, since you can't alter your characters body type.

It's a bit disappointing really that everyone is a good build.

Even those suffering from hunger aren't built like a pole and look nice and healthy

Kill Old Lady Gibson.
Take off her clothes.
...
If I hadn't just killed her, I'd hit that.

Are there fat people in the universe? Yes, but technically no. The reason there are none in F3 and NV is that if there were other body builds, they would have to make a skin for each and every body type and each uniform /suit would have to have skins for each body tupe. point in short, alot of work.

Haha, would be kind of cool if there were fatties.

Imagine chasing some fat fleeing enemies, fun times.

For virtual no pay off. The most they would do is make an article of clothing the NPC would wear to generate the effect and they simply would't be able to equip any other clothing/armor.

How do you get fat? you eat a lot of food typically food rich in fats and you don't exercise. Accomplishing both feats is quite a challenge in the Mojave or Capital Wasteland? The lack of vehicles forcing you to walk everywhere would be a significant amount of exercise. And if your not walking from place to place everyday then we'd never see them now would we.

Oh well, maybe I should go to a knitting convention and try to pick up some cougar-cougars there then. :]

On topic: I think we had this thread a while back and I suggest again: How about unique models for each fat person (would be in a low quantity) with the glothes glued to their bodies?
Of all people in Fallout 3 and New Vegas I found Hillfolk to be the one's that looked the most normal.
Why?
Cause they looked somewhat realistic.
Every single model for all human NPC's all share two body models with like 4 texture skins between them all.
It starts to get eerie when everyone shares the same complexity and height.
At least the Hillfolk's body models had unique models yknow.
So I think that there should be some NPC's in the game which have fixed models+clothing which would mean we could have little people, fat people and maybe even people who are really really muscular like the bouncers in Reno.
This is another reason why I like the old games better.
While they have a lower amount of NPC models at least those that they have all look realistic.
