Destructable enviroments (where are they?)

Ok, i'm very impressed and somewhat dissapointed with Crysis2. I love the game don't get me wrong, but after playing and beating it i've noticed there's not much you can destroy in the game. I know you can blow up barrels, cars, and chip away at support columns dut that's as far as it goes. I've seen at least two videos showing destruction, one was gameplay and one was a video stating exactly what was being done on each system, I mean ive unloaded guns and grenades into buildings, thos concrete barriers, and trees but nothing even with the HMG but still nothing. This is my first post only cause I haven't come across to many people talking about it and just was wandering what your guys opinions was on the matter video link, http://crytek.com/cryengine/cryengine3/overview

It would be hard to render because of 30fps it would severily drop it more than it does.

i've tried to shot down trees with no effect and the barracades only break after like 3 or 4 rockets but the framerate issue does make since

I have shot down trees and watched as the barricades I've hidden behind disintegrate under fire from heavy machine guns. ;-)

I once jump down a roof/some place high in (skyline?) and ground pound or whatever you call that, then the road cracks and water flows out o.O
I thought that was destructible enough.

It is weird, but it seems only certain trees are destructible while others are impervious to bullet fire.

Destruction is pretty inconsistent in this game, but when it does happen, it's pretty awesome.
