Should stealth assassinations keep you cloaked?

Currently there's barely any reason to do an assassintation when you could easily melee twice instead, as an assassination risks killing your energy if you miss it (easily done due to lag) and it leaves you vulnerable to enemy fire when you do lock it in.

I propose staying invisible when you do it. People will still be able to know what's going on if paying attention as they'll see the enemy being killed, but you'll be harder to spot and will get an easier escape.

At the moment it's pretty pointless, and there's not much advantage in doing it unless you're underwater or just want to humiliate someone by taking a needless risk to kill them.

Nope!

Well, if they're not going to make them useful, there's very little point doing them other than the 50 kills challenge and the assassination dog tag.

I get by fine without them, but I just don't like orphaned guns or techniques in a game. Everything should have a reason to do or use it, even if it's just say give you more XP for it or something. At the moment, tactically, there's very little reason to assassinate. At least in demo 2 it had a use with armour users taking 3 hits to kill.

I don't want melee being made stronger, but I do feel people need a little more motivation to assassinate as there's not a lot of reasons now to.

Its fun to do and its also humiliating for the victim. Isn't that why people play games?

I like the way it is currently. This is coming from someone that averages like 3 per game. I use to think it was wack not staying cloaked though.
