I've been reading up on the forums here since the games release because I noticed that the multiplayer wasn't exactly solid, still fun, but needed work. Today however, was first day I experienced everyone's complaints for myself & holy crap.....What is going on? Everyone is in the red, there are missing sound effects, reloading & picking up weapons aren't registering, getting booted every other game, getting stuck in the kill cam, getting stuck in maps, won't ADS, unloading bullets into people, and people skipping around worse than Halo & CoD! I've been a fan of Crytek since FarCry and was very much looking forward to this game, particularly the multiplayer....but this is a far cry from..well, FarCry. I really hope something is being done about whatever is causing all this madness, but I keep reading things about how they may not do anyting...And I thought they released a patch already that was supossed to fix some things, but it's worse then ever..PAH-LEASE fix this, cause this is bad, good old fashion BAD.

Up until now I have almost exclusively played CoD games except for a brief stint in Halo 3 (would have kept playing but my friend wanted the game back)... I admit they have their faults (lots of them (especially Black Ops)) but they were entertaining. I enjoy this game quite a bit but the more I run into these issues, the more I feel like going back to Black Ops... I mean, it's a piece of ****, but at least it's a polished piece of ****.

I don't doubt that something will be done over time to fix this game, but so far the frustrations outweigh the fun. I really do enjoy the game, when it works semi-decently. I will continue to play, but each time I encounter one of these issues, it takes a little bit of the fun away, and I inevitably end up putting that wretched Black Ops disc back into my 360.

The only real conclusion I have come to thus far is that after both disappointments with MW2/BO and Crysis 2, I think I'll turn to Battlefield 3 to hopefully redeem the FPS console genre for me. I don't hold much stock in MW3. With all the developer issues/legal trouble, I feel it will be rushed.

Anyway, these are just my thoughts... take them for what they're worth (not much).

In essence, this game is a golden turd. You love it, but it's still ****.

Its a great multiplayer thats being ruined by all the lag and glitches.

No doubt i luckily pulled host one night dont ask me how and i was a god. 47-4 on crash site in the first 2 minutes i had maximum nanosuit which is seriously overpowered. When i got this i sponged the entire enemy teams constant fire and two grenades and still managed to kill them all and keep the crash site. The game plays excellent 2 out of 10 times for me unfortunately but when it does play well its fantastic. The other 8 times i can't string together a killstreak without sitting in a corner waiting for people to walk by.

Maximum nanosuit isnt overpowered in my opinion, I heard a well placed JAW will take a max suit in one shot.

maybe but i have only got it once and wasnt hit with a JAW dont think anyone in the lobby had one.

"can't it run crysis" means look at how smooth it is running (graphics, speed, frame rate)

I was just using it as a figure of speech because it's so laggy.

Crytek really need to get their networking up to speed. Kinda reminds me of Gears 2, a great game ruined by terrible lag issues, only Crysis 2 is far better than Gears 2 and I really don't want it to fail.
