Crysis 2 Cutsence and scripting

Post » Thu Mar 25, 2010 11:41 pm

i saw today the Crysis1 Cutsence and they are all in 1st person only a few seconds you not in 1st person
are the cutsence in Crysis 2 also in 1st person only?
and what about skripts?
i dont know how say it. in BC2 there is one part where you on the back of a truck and enemies are behind you on squad bikes and than they crash together and go down the mountain.
will something like this happen in Crysis 2 too?

How should we know?

in Warhead the cutscenes were many times in 3rd person, crysis couldn't do that because Nomad has no face :/

I loved Crysis cutscenes, they were greatly immersive.

Lol, yeah I can actually remember playing with the animation graph. I found the animation for Nomad, putting his mask on. It was really weird. It was as if he cleaning his face. :P

But anything made for first person view, won't do necessarily well in third person view.

The only time Nomad was shown was at the end in the VTOL and even then he had his facemask on. He was a shady character...

I prefer first person cutscenes because I like how immersive they are.

I'd just stick with fps cut-scenes on this one
