Post » Sat Apr 03, 2010 10:54 pm

I was running prime 95 on my computer on an AMD overclocked 3.86 and it was running for 3 hours straight no problem and the temps were staying at 51 degrees celceuis when all of a sudden my computer shut down. Well i tryed to restart it but didn't work.
so far i have tricked my power supply into turning on with a paper clip and it works and i also did it with my backup one anyone have any ideas or opinion.

If you have another PSU laying around, try it with that motherboard... Also, are there any "beeps" when you try and turn it on?

Different beep patterns indicate different problems.
