Don't worry people, he is 11 and nobody cares about him anyway. He is just crying over the fact that this game isn't CoD or Halo. He will have to go to bed soon when his mother come in to give him is bottle and tucks him in as it is way past his bed time.
Ok first up I dont agree with the OP, OK the MP is majorly flawed, however I do think its pretty terrible on many levels. As for the "this game isnt CoD", is it just me that finds Cry 2 feels very like a 're-skinned' generic CoD title, i.e. lack of weapon feel, looks polished but poor gameplay, boring game modes, kill streaks, lots of cheating etc ...
If Crysis 2 falls under 'reskinned generic CoD title', shouldn't CoD fall under 'reskinned generic FPS title'? I mean you can only do a FPS game in so many different ways and probably all ways have already been done, making all FPS games clones of earlier games in one way or another.
OK a few points for this:
lack of weapon feel (massive issue for me),
**** killcam,
killstreaks,
P2P,
cheating everywhere,
shoddy hit detection,
generic game modes.
All of which I experience/have experienced regularly in MW 1/2 etc.
The point I was suggesting is that nothing great comes from following the crowd i.e., if the devs for the online of this game had a little more invention/creativity then the online would have been epic. However, for me, the C2 online just screams of ideas/concepts and mechanics that have been directly lifted from other games mainly the modern CoD titles.
