Your CPU is pretty ****, you will have to update that sometime in the future, i5/i7/SandyBridge is just not worth it.
Your GPU is pulling it's weight in that setup, that's for sure. DX11 should bring it to it's knees when it's out, hopefully followed by some high res textures.
You can just be happy that the CryEngine3 was coded correctly, in games like MoH2010 you CPU wouldn't have been able to keep up with your card.
I have a q6600 and a gtx470 that guys specs and mine are the same. I have MOH2010 and was able to run it max settings on 1980x1080 and got 55 fps. Most pc games poor performance come from poor optimization and not hardware
Most pc games today don't even come close to maxing out a comp. There almost is no reason to upgrade for gaming and crysis 2 further proves that point. The only game I see coming out that would be a reason for him to upgrade would be Battlefield 3.
Didn't you think it was ridiculous for nvidia to be showcasing the gtx 590 with crysis 2 like you really need a gtx 590 for a dx9 game.
