First Time Playing Crysis wars :D

Post » Sat May 01, 2010 7:39 pm

I just Decided to try Crysis Wars for the first time. I had it on my old PC but i never played it because I could barely play Crysis on the lowest possible settings.

Now on my New PC, I tried it out with a mix of high, and very high. The Framerate is just under 30 because of FRAPS. I get 30-40 fps without the recording. CHeck it out:

I hope you had time :)
A few tips.
-always use the laser, it increases your precision vastly
-use armor a bit more, especially when you're having a fight.

Anyway, you played well, nice to see new guys =)

Keyboard suit-shortcuts, double tap-space for jump, double-tap S for armor (i think) anyways very handy... suit-shortcuts is in your game-options.

@corruptsoul
well, the mouse wheel is quite fast, you just need some time getting used to it.

My mouse has the wheel further down the mouse so I need to press harder than I usually would. Probably just takes practice :\

You could always bind the armor key to a other button :P

I got the roccat kone so i can use one of the 3 scrollwheel buttons for armor, one for strength and the other for the quickmenu, i got one of my two thumb buttons for speed :P

I'll get better. I also play different games which could potentially screw me up.

What other games then? you should just play a lot of cw for a day then go play the others, to get better at cw while playing other games you have to play for a couple of hours before switching :P

Yeah, sadly. Perhaps we could do a gamesas Community Server, if enough people of the community start playing ;)

The game is dead, mostly because the modded servers are such a turn off to most newcomers (and me...).

[/quote]

That was already tried, remember? I don't think it would work at all unless its public and not a private server like before.
