Let's Begin to Talk Class Action Law Suit!

Post » Wed May 05, 2010 7:32 am

I have a copy of Crysis 2 that crashes to Windows when I try to play multiplayer. In singleplayer mode, I find that playing with SLI enabled always crashes the game after a period of of time. In progressing in the singleplayer campaign to the "Access Hive Core Entrance" segment of "The Seat of Power" episode the graphics are all screwed up so that objects are floating meaninglessly in space and the entrance to the subway that ends the episode is suspended in space so that you can't reach it, effectively stopping me and the game in its tracks. I've heard that Crytek took down the webpage that advertised this game as DirectX 11 capable. That looks very suspicious, especially to attorneys. And there's the host of problems that are detailed on this site. It all seems like false advertising to me and worthy of a lawsuit to obtain refunds and damges. I bought my copy at BestBuy and theyy'll be sure to say that the best they can do for opened software is give me another copy of this buggy and shoody product. Maybe I should do that exchange multiple times to get my point across. Or we can band together and file a class action lawsuit. It's about time software companies were held accountable for their casual and possibly criminal approach to their software releases.

What do you all think?

I gotta agree though, they're doing absolutely nothing about the issues. They haven't even released any news on an upcoming patch or fix for any of the issues, nor acknowledged it and said it is being worked on. It's been nearly a week since the release and nothing has been done and nothing is being done.

This is some pretty disgusting ****, but not criminal.

Hi, please read through some threads before claiming nothing is being done. Work arounds have already been provided for a number of issues, and we have acknowledged many others as being worked on. It is of course a top priority for us to make sure these are resolved as soon as possible and everyone can enjoy Crysis 2.

Please refrain from making threads of this nature in future, the Crysis 2 forums are clearly not the place to discuss such matters and your account may be suspended from our forums for violating these rules.
