Brink, Retail or Steam?

Post » Tue May 11, 2010 3:18 am

So im from the U.K and Brink is releasing tomorrow and i was wondering what version to purchase. I have a friend who currently plays it through steam and i was pondering whether i would encounter any problems if i purchased the retail physical copy. I dont mind which version i get, but the physical version would cost me less because i plan on making a few trade-ins. Will i still be abe to link up with my friend if i buy from the shop?

You shouldn't have any problems. I personally prefer getting a physical copy because I don't want to wait ages for steam to d/l it and also i like having a physical collection of game.

In the end i purchased the retail copy, which then 'Forces' Steam upon you anyhow so it voids the whole topic! Thanks for the reply anyway, add me on steam if you want 'SwiF-D'. Peace

Retail.

Through Steam you cannot get refund.
