IMO, that's crazy. I suggest Lionhead to make Fable IV for PC only, and hope the PC-ers around the world would not pirate it. There wont be any used sales. Problem solved.

Its true, for every used game sold, that person could have potentially bought a new copy. So for every used game sold they are losing out on profit, whereas pirates never intended to buy the game anyways and don't impact profit over the long term like used games do.

Looks like they're trying to make excuses for a crap game not selling too well.

If the game was good you wouldn't have so many getting rid of it.

Hey, that is sort of true.
Most pirates plan on trying the game, and then buying it. Or some try it, and then like it so much, and buy it. They mostly also buy it after playing the campaign to get the multi player.
Used games just circulate the money to the people.
