I've heard rumours on the forum that individual's states were being reset, including all modules and skill assessemants during/after a private match. I'm not sure about their attachments and rank.

I have a clan match tomorrow and Im level 45 and worried that when I join the game I will lose 20+ hours of gameplay. I want to prestige so not gonna be happy to start all over again.

Can a moderator please respond and advise whether they would recommend me to play in a private match? If not, then can they mention that this issue has been acknowledged and that they are working on a fix. This is a simple request, just a few minutes of your day and would help me and others who have similar concerns.

So the issue affects your rank as well? I seen a video on this forum showing it doesn't. Does anyone know?

As for the Private Match glitch, I haven't touched them one bit. Quite a few people have suffered through the glitch and I believe it resets everything.

I would avoid private matches until it is fixed.

Yeah Avoid private matches, I was playing with my friends and the Host got reset and everyone else was fine, dont takr the chance though.

Your rank stays the same. It happened to me a couple weeks ago. You lose all kills, progress in modules and guns (progress not the actual gun or attachments), and wins. You keep rank, guns, modules, and attachments.

Even then, I would be frustrated as !#@%$@#%^@$#.

Might sound sad but I'm not risking losing everything, spent too much time and effort to get where I am now lol!
I am now level 47 so really close to rebooting my suit.

On top of everything else that needs fixing on this game, this reset glitch is too much. Some lag here and there is one thing, that is to be expected but resetting everyones progress randomly should have been fixed with a mini-patch. A large patch addressing everything is not necessary just a few little fixes every few days to get rid of the game breaking problems i.e. weird a.i., reset glitch, regional filter.

I don't know the answer to your question but if I were you, I would stay on the safe side and avoid private matches completely until a fix is announced and released.

So I spoke to EA on the Live Chat a few mins ago and here is the belong dialogue, absurd to say the least to a simple polite question I was asking.

This is disgraceful. Why cannot anyone at EA or Crytek (on these forums) just answer a simple question? I paid money for a full product. All the other issues on the game I don't find gamebreaking and can live with but when a fundamental aspect of the game, private matches, has an extreme issue with it then I have been sold a broken product.

The product is not working!! This should be illegal, selling products under falsehoods. By releasing a final build (retail build) then I should have a final product. I am not expecting miracles but when at any time my progress can be reset to zero then this is important.

For the Love of God Crytek, just respond to one forum post without stating "we will announce any updates when we have them" or "we are gathering feedback". We want ETA's!! and what are you working on? What do you forum people do all day? I could read most daily posts within a couple of hours and reply to perhaps a 100 a day if that was my job. But we are lucky to get one a day. I have worked in office environments where I have received over a 100 emails a day and responded to all of them so a few mins of your day to respond to people's concerns are not asking for too much. I have heard bad things in the past regarding EA and I thought those people were idiots but from all thats happening I am being proven wrong.

I am not trolling and am not usually an angry person, but you are taking the p*** now and so does EA with there generic, robotic responses. I made the effort to speak to you in a polite manner and then I get shoo'd away. Lol at EA for saying that they only deal with game issues, do they think that private matches are outside the game? I am stupid? I am a psychology undergraduate and smart guy so please don't insult my intelligence.

If this is true than EA are just a poorer Activision.

I played a few privates matches today and they nothing was reset. We won as well

Rank will not reset but I think my team and I figured out the glitch read this
