What hardware do you need for Crysis 2 in 3D?

Seriously. I can't find out what kind of glasses you need, or if you need a 3D TV/monitor. Can someone please shed some light on the requirements for 3D?

No one knows yet, Crytek never announced anything about it. Although many people think otherwise, I'm pretty sure all you'll need are the glasses, no 3D TV SHOULD be required.

you will need a 120 Hz monitor to run 3d properly (standard stock monitors are 60Hz)
You must have a 3d vision software and glasses. You can get the Stereoscopic 3D set from Nvidia. ATI should have an equivalent
You also need a good processor (i guess) and graphics card(s)

Maybe Nvidia GTX 470 & 480
or GTX 295
or ATI...

THATS ALL I KNOW, THERE MAY BE OTHER STUFF...

You will need nVidia's 3D Vision stuff, along with a 120Hz monitor and USUALLY you will need to run a SLI configuration to keep the FPS up at a good pace.

As I understood from what they were saying in the videos all you will need is 3D glasses(don't know the colors). As Crytek worked pretty hard on this one you won't need any special 3D video cards. As Crytek mentioned Rendering 3D image doesn't mean 2Xrendering process. That means there won't be need for 120Hz monitors. Just wait for the release, as I'm pretty sure that there will be everything you need with the Crysis 2 disk.
I would recommend to save some money and not to buy video card's/PC upgrades for now as they will be much cheaper in the day Crysis 2 will be released.

If i can just put on some 3d glasses that i got from the cinema and run the game in 3d i will be most impressed.

But it isn't going to happen, there'll be some requirement for 3d like nvidia 3d vision and a 120hz monitor. The consoles need to have the 3dtv's for it to work, pc's won't be any different.

Also, off topic, but i wish the developers would stop saying 'choreographed sandbox' it just sounds retarded. Yes, you made the game worse than the original because you like console loving, don't try to make yourself feel like you're making a true sequel.

Crysis 2 supports all the forms of 3d, and supposedly, the way 3d is implemented there is almost no performance loss.
