New Cheap router ideas. (Fed up with B.T Home Hub!)

Post » Mon May 24, 2010 12:52 am

i got a B.T Home Hub 2.0 with hub phone at the moment and its driving me up the wall. with a 0.5mbps downstream i was fed up and rang B.T, they knocked £5.00 of the bill and told me that they capped my line from 1.5mbps to 0.5 for absolutely no reason, they then went on to say the're sending an accelerator, which i researched and found out it won't fit my master socket....so happy days!

Anyway they gave me a deal where i do not need my internet phone, which before gave me free calls from 6pm to 6am evenings an weekends, whereas now i have free calls anytime on my landline.

So i'm asking, as my hub is useless...hates GTA IV,, hates my PS3, and many other things, can anyone give me any ideas on cheap routers (hopefully dual band) that are under £50.00, ive researched a bit i'm not lazy but i want someone who has one and knows how good it is.

All comments will help me greatly thanks a lot.
