Unfortunately, I spent my crack money on Crysis 2. Your idea does sound authentic though.

Crash site is the only mode I play...nothing like lobbing a grenade into the site hoping it will take out half their team :)
love the points you accumulate while capping the site. 'parking lot' is the best for 'Crash site'...

CTR would be a good game mode if it actually required taking a dropped relay back to the base it was stolen from rather than returning it in .00005 seconds by walking over it.


I mean you have constant highlight over the other team carrying your relay and all you have to worry about it shooting him/her in the back and simply running over the relay with no chance of the enemy getting it back.... then it all resets again and we continue this pattern of camping & back shots for the rest of the match.


Sad that this very poor design choice for CTF based modes seems to be sticking with developers.


Crytek if you update the CTR playlist to make it where you have to carry your teams dropped relay back to the base it was stolen from, rather than walking over it.......... win.


I can imagine the joy when it goes from a camping back shot fest to a struggle of constant action for the other teams relay.

You pretty much described my issue with CTF in most shooters, I'd play it more if it were implemented better.
